P2P Peer Recovery Coach job description

P2P Recovery Resources is looking for peer recovery coaches to partner with P2P in the Denver Metro area. A P2P recovery coach assists our clients with the day-to-day challenges of recovery. A P2P peer recovery coach facilitates relationships and serves as a link between the agency, clinical providers, natural supports, other service providers, and the community. The coach meets with a recoveree and supports an individual’s desire to focus on specific issues. The recovery plan is recoveree centered and supports a recoveree’s path to recovery. This is not a desk job. P2P provides coaches access to our clients and will provide assignments to a coach based on general compatibility factors. The coaches can meet with the recoveree individually, face to face in the community multiple days during a week and/or introduce them to weekly peer run or clinical groups and/or provide them access to individual clinical counseling. P2P also offers Intensive Outpatient (IOP) or General Outpatient- INSPIREp2p (GOP-I) programs if appropriate. P2P coaches decide how many recoverees they work with at a time and are responsible for managing their own weekly schedule.
